Sunday April 12, 2009 Grading of Granville's roads will begin tomorrow and proceed through Wednesday. In addition, expect truck traffic on Tuesday. Please drive with caution and be prepared to stop during this period.
Sunday April 5, 2009 The recent rain has caused sections of North Hollow Road to thaw and have created several "bad" sections which should be avoided by low clearance vehicles. The other roads, though rutted, remain travel able. As the roads continue to dry, selected sections will be graded beginning next week. In the meantime, proceed with caution and know that within a couple of weeks, mud season will be behind us.....
Saturday, March 28, 2009 The car eating mud hole is back ! There is a Deep mud hole located at 2200 North Hollow Road. (about 250 feet north of Guy Christie's driveway) Low clearance vehicles should avoid this section of road.
Tuesday, March 24, 2009 All Granville roads are currently travel able by cars. The Rochester section of Town Line road is now passable
Thursday, March 19, 2009 All Granville roads are currently travel able by cars with one exception. There is a Deep mud hole located at 2200 North Hollow Road. (about 250 feet north of Guy Christie's driveway) Low clearance vehicles should crowd the east side of the road at that spot and hope for the best.
Wednesday, March 11, 2009 MUD season is upon us…All Granville roads are currently travel able by cars. The trouble spots over the past few days have improved due to the current cooling period. It has been reported that the Rochester section of Town Line road is still impassable to low clearance vehicles and thus should be avoided. |
