I hope all of you are having a great late summer.  I will update this page when new conditions warrent.

Sunday April 12, 2009

Grading of Granville's roads will begin tomorrow and proceed through Wednesday.  In addition, expect truck traffic on Tuesday.  Please drive with caution and be prepared to stop during this period.

Sunday April 5, 2009

The recent rain has caused sections of North Hollow Road to thaw and have created several "bad" sections which should be avoided by low clearance vehicles. The other roads, though rutted, remain travel able.  As the roads continue to dry, selected sections will be graded beginning next week.  In the meantime, proceed with caution and know that within a couple of weeks, mud season will be behind us.....

All Granville roads are currently travel able by cars with one exception. There is a Deep mud hole located at 2200 North Hollow Road. (about 250 feet north of Guy Christie's driveway)  Low clearance vehicles should crowd the east side of the road at that spot and hope for the best.

MUD season is upon us…All Granville roads are currently travel able by cars. The trouble spots over the past few days have improved due to the current cooling period. It has been reported that the Rochester section of Town Line road is still impassable to low clearance vehicles and thus should be avoided.
