The Cemetery Commission of Granville seeks a sexton for the important work of interment in our two operating cemeteries. The primary duties include meeting with buyers to locate and sell lots, opening and closing grave lots, and filling out necessary paperwork, but we would also like the sexton to inspect the cemeteries once a month from May through October, report potential maintenance issues to the commission, and assist in conforming the cemetery maps. All work is to be done in coordination with the Cemetery Commissioners.
Compensation: A $300 stipend for the season, plus burial fees.
